What should I do if the Cosmos 4K SE is out of focus?

Technical Solution:

Using a TOF (Time of Flight) focusing scheme, the distance between the machine and the wall is measured through TOF, and the position of the focusing motor is calculated. Compared to the previous Camera focusing, its characteristic is: non-perceptible focusing.

 

Malfunction 1: Blurry focus immediately after startup. For the first batch of 2K machines (factory software version 11.0.11)

  1. Ask the customer to use the remote control to auto focus once. After the focus is completed, immediately press the OK button to enter the manual keystone correction interface.
  2. In the manual keystone correction interface, press the remote control auto focus button again to enter the manual focus adjustment interface, and try to press the left and right direction buttons to adjust the picture to be clear.

*If the customer has feedback that the remote control responds slowly, ask the customer to press the remote control voice button and follow the prompts to pair the remote control with Bluetooth.

  1. Ask the customer to provide SN, and we will push the software version to him. (Version number to be pushed: 11.0.12)
  2. After upgrading to version 11.0.12, enter the manual focus calibration interface, path: Settings/Projector/Advanced Settings/Auto Focus Calibration
  3. Follow the prompts to perform manual focus calibration.
 

Malfunction 2: The screen becomes blurry after watching a video for a while.

  1. Ensure the device is connected to the internet. (Once connected, the device will update the time, allowing it to recognize the interval between the last shutdown and the current startup, ensuring the correct thermal defocus compensation coefficient is used.)
  2. Ensure the device is kept away from heat sources and that the intake and exhaust vents on both sides are unobstructed.
  3. Perform an auto-focus operation to confirm if the screen is clear.
  4. If it still cannot focus clearly, the device may have a hardware malfunction.
