If your Capsule cannot update the firmware, or you see the error message— "Check Update Failure" when updating the firmware, check your firmware version. If the firmware is version 1.0.46 or older, the firmware is too old to be updated with this method.

To fix this issue, please download the firmware from this link (the file named "D4111 Capsule Firmware Upgrade") to complete the update.

Here are the update steps for your reference.

1, Download the firmware to a FAT 32 USB drive. 

2, Plug the USB drive to the Capsule with the little OTG adapter that comes with the Capsule.

3, Find the file via File Manager on the homepage of the Capsule. 

4, Click the file to start upgrading.

5, After the manual upgrading process is completed, you'll be able to upgrade the firmware to the latest version via settings>upgrade>check update.
