What is the difference between native contrast ratio and dynamic contrast ratio?

Thank you for supporting our product.

Native Contrast Ratio: Refers to the projector's inherent contrast value measured without dynamic contrast adjustments and with the aperture fully open. For Nebula X1 Pro, the actual native contrast ratio ranges from approximately 1,300:1 to 5,000:1. It reaches 5,000:1 when the iris is set to its minimum size (or when the Auto brightness mode detects a completely dark environment).

Dynamic Contrast Ratio:Achieved through a dynamic dimming system (combining dynamic contrast adjustment and a dynamic iris adjustment), where the iris adjusts automatically when set to Auto Mode. Nebula X1 Pro's dynamic contrast ratio can reach up to 56,000:1. This value was measured in Nebula's TUV-certified optical laboratory under the following conditions:

- Full darkroom environment.

- Iris set to minimum.

- Using T-10A test equipment with specific software settings.

- Testing with full-screen grayscale images at 100% IRE and 0% IRE.
