At present, there are 4 Nebula models that support playing 3D videos: Nebula Solar, Nebula Solar Portable, Nebula Vega Portable and Nebula Cosmos. You can watch a 3D video on these projectors through streaming apps installed on the projector, by connecting a USB flash drive with 3D videos stored to its USB-A port, or by connecting a computer playing a 3D video to it with an HDMI cable.
All above-mentioned Nebula projectors support DLP Link active 3D glasses; thus, please wear a pair of DLP Link active 3D glasses in order to enjoy a 3D video projected by a Nebula projector. In addition, always remember to activate 3D mode on the Nebula projector every time you watch a 3D video by long-pressing the "settings" button while playing a movie, then going to settings > projector settings and choosing the "3D" option when watching a 3D video.
When enjoying a 3D video stored on a USB flash drive plugged into the Nebula projector, use a media play that supports 3D decoding. Moreover, the video itself must also support 3D.
If you are still having trouble watching 3D videos, please contact us for further assistance. Make sure to mention that you have tried the steps in this FAQ so our agents do not ask you to repeat these steps. Please also provide Nebula customer support with the following information:
1) The current firmware version on your Nebula projector, which can be found by going to Settings > Device Preferences > About > Firmware Version.
2) Detailed information about the 3D video you played on the Nebula projector (video name, how you played on your Nebula--through apps installed on the projector (in what streaming app), via a USB flash drive or with HDMI connection to a computer)
3) A short video showing your 3D playing effect (before and after activating 3D mode).
