Yes. The X1 Pro fully supports rear projection.
Rear projection means placing the projector behind a special screen (called a rear‑projection screen). The image is projected onto the back of the screen, and you view it from the front.
Here are the key things you'll need to do for a rear projection setup with your X1 Pro.
A Rear‑Projection Screen: This is essential. Regular projector screens are designed for front projection and will not work correctly. A rear‑projection screen is made of a special material that allows light to pass through from behind.
Enable the Setting: In the X1 Pro's menu settings, you will need to find the “Projection Mode” or a similar option and switch it from “Front Projection” to “Rear Projection” or “Rear.” This will flip the image horizontally so that it appears correctly when viewed from the other side of the screen.
Sufficient Space: Make sure you have enough space behind the screen to place the projector at the desired distance for your screen size.
This setup is great for achieving a clean, professional look, as it hides the projector and any cables completely from the viewing area.
