eufy Smart Safe S10 has a Scramble PIN function that is designed to make your Master PIN code even more secure by giving you the option to enter random numbers before entering the actual PIN code. This function allows your PIN code to remain private and known only to yourself when you are unlocking your Smart Safe in the presence of other family members or friends.
For security purposes, please note that the actual Master PIN code has to be four to six digits, and these digits cannot be repeated numbers (example: 3333) or a sequence of numbers (example: 1234).
In order to enable the Scramble PIN function, please follow the steps below:
- Launch the eufy Security app.
- Select the Smart Safe.
- Smart Safe Settings.
- Scramble PIN.
- Enable the Scramble PIN function.
Note: The maximum number of button pushes is currently 20 digits including the actual PIN code. For example, if your actual PIN code is 2468, you are able to enter up to 16 additional digits prior to entering the actual PIN code to unlock the safe.
