What is the cause?
This specific issue may happen in the following situations:
- The battery is running low
- The battery has not been charged properly
- The vacuum is clogged or has sucked in liquids.
When using the original AC adapter, the vacuum can be fully charged in 3.5 hours and it runs up to:
Max mode 20 kpa: 8 mins
Medium mode 12 kpa: 25 mins
Low mode 7 kpa: 40 mins
How to fix the issue?
If your HomeVac S11 vacuum’s runtime is shorter than expected after fully charging it for 3.5 hours, please refer to the following tips and check if the issue can be resolved:
- Confirm if you were using the original AC adapter (30V, 800mA) that came with the vacuum and whether the vacuum can be charged normally.
2. If the vacuum can be charged normally, confirm if the metal pins on the main unit and on the battery are in good shape:
If the metal pins on the main unit are bent, this is usually due to the battery not being installed properly. Try to straighten it with a ruler and check if it works.
3. If the vacuum can be charged normally and nothing is broken, hold down the On/Off button and check if it displays any error indicators. If it displays a flashing red indicator light, please confirm if the vacuum has previously sucked in liquids or the internal part of the vacuum may be clogged.
