The eufy Baby Monitor 2 streams live view and records videos in crystal clear 2K resolution; however, video quality may also be impacted due to WiFi network’s signal strength and bandwidth. Please try the following troubleshooting steps if your eufy Baby Monitor 2 encounters video streaming and recording quality issues.
- Launch the eufy Baby app > tap Me > tap My Devices > tap Baby Monitor 2 > tap Video Quality and then you can choose from either Live or Record Video to configure video quality.
Live:
There are four steaming modes to choose from.
- Auto - Image quality is adaptive to available network bandwidth.
- High - Crystal clear image quality but will use more data and the live view may sometimes pause when network signal is weak.
- Medium - Average image quality but will use less data.
- Low - Low image quality but will keep playing the live view smoothly when network signal is weak.
Record Video:
There are two recording modes to choose from.
- 2K HD - Camera records videos in 2K resolution and requires the latest video codec as well as more storage space.
- Full HD - Camera records videos in 1080p resolution and it is also compatible with legacy smartphones.
