If you find that the Dynamic Contrast function is not operating properly or experiences a delay, please consider the following:
The dynamic contrast ratio of 56,000:1 for our X1 projector is obtained through actual measurements performed in a NEBULA TUV-certified optical laboratory, in a completely dark environment using T-10A testing equipment. This value is determined by testing with full-screen grayscale images at 100% IRE and 0% IRE.
To enable and test Dynamic Contrast, please follow these steps:
-
Go to: Settings -> Picture -> Restore Default Settings
-
Set: Settings -> Picture -> Iris Level -> Minimum
-
Set: Settings -> Projector -> Move & Zoom -> 60%
-
Set: Settings -> Picture -> Dynamic Contrast -> ON and wait for 10 seconds
Notes:
-
Dynamic Contrast is only activated when switched ON; by default, it is OFF—including in Master mode.
-
Any adjustment delay is intentional, to prevent sudden, large changes in brightness which may negatively impact your viewing experience.
We will consider adding dynamic contrast OFF/LOW/HIGH or similar options for future firmware updates,together with more detailed image mode parameter adjustments.
Please look forward to more comprehensive parameter information in upcoming firmware updates. Thank you for your attention and feedback!
